Presale wristband reminder!

Don’t forget to purchase your guest wristbands today and tomorrow!  The price goes up to $15 on the 4th of July.  Today and tomorrow you pay $10 per wristband, required for those with no membership card over 6 years of age.  There is a limit of 12 guests per household.  Guest wristbands are on sale today (July 2nd) from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and tomorrow (July 3rd) from 2:00 – 10:00 p.m.  There are a limited number being sold, so don’t put it off too late!

*NEW* Labor Weekend Picnic

Why go away for Labor Day weekend? Sunday, September 6 we will be introducing our first annual Labor Weekend Family Picnic. With live entertainment, a ridiculous amount of BBQ food items, family fun, games and prizes, and pennies in gas money…why would you go anywhere else? Does this sound like fun? Let me know! Tennis Association Swap Meet

Sign up now to be a vendor at this years annual Swap Meet on Saturday, May 23rd.  Hours are 8 AM to 3 PM.  Finish your Spring Cleaning and bring all your “former treasures, now disposables” and sell them right here at the Club.  New boutique and craft items are also welcome.  There will be a St. Vincent de Paul Society thrift-shop truck on hand to accept any items that you don’t sell and wish to donate.

Vendor spots are $20 each and going fast.  To reserve your spot, call Paul Scribner @ 949/830-9096 and drop off your $20 check made payable to “The Lake Forest Tennis Association” at the front desk.  Paul will call you back with your assigned space number.

 

Comedians Announced!

The comedians have been announced for Comedy Night on May 22.  This is a great group! 

Chris Strait – Chris is rising fast in the comedy world and will host this laughter-filled evening!  Funny, smart and really, really tall….What more could you ask for?

Jeff Capri – Jeff’s career has taken him all around the world performing for our troops on USO tours everywhere!  He is a favorite in Las Vegas and has made many television appearences including Comics Unleashed, Last Comic Standing, Ed McMahon’s Next Big Star and more!

Sam Fedele – What makes this former business owner and Marine one of the most sought-after talents in the industry?  Simple.  He destroys the room, corporate functions, cruise ships and comedy clubs.  Fedele delivers a brand of comedy GUARANTEED to blow you away.   

Sam is a comedy club and college favorite nationwide, and has been seen on NBC, Comedy Central, the PAX Network and CBC Television in Canada.

Comedy Night is approaching rapidly!  Memorial Weekend Kick-off Comedy Night is scheduled for May 22.  The doors open for seat reservations at 6:00 p.m. (no one will be admitted to the Banquet Area before this time), the food will be served and the bar opened at 7:00 p.m., and the show begins at 8:00 p.m.  Food is included in the price, and drinks will be available at special “Comedy Night Prices”.  Specials will include $1.00 bottled domestic beer, and $1.00 wine selections.  This event is for adults 21 and over only, and will contain adult content.  Tickets are $15.00 each, with a savings for purchasing 8 tickets on-line with the “Group Tickets” option!  Comics will be announced May 1.

Del Mar is lovely in the summer!  Join us for “Family Fun Day” at Del Mar Racetrack.  The track opens at 11:30 a.m., and the first race is at 2:00 p.m.  There are activities for the whole family from 1:00 – 6:30 and includes:
