October 3  San Manual Indian Bingo & Casino Day Trip  9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

This Friday trip is a great deal for those of you who are retired or who can take a day off from work!  The Trip is FREE, although a $13.00 (fully refundable) deposit is required.  Your deposit will be returned to you when you arrive on October 3.  I charge this because we are required to have a certain number of people for the trip, and there is a $13.00 per person fee for those that do not show up.

The bus departs from the Sun and Sail Club at 9:00 a.m., and will arrive at San Manuel at about 10:15 a.m.  There are all kinds of games, with Bingo starting at 2:30.  Each person will get a $10.00 voucher for any restaurant in the Casino. 

We will depart San Manuel at 6:00 p.m., and return to the Sun and Sail Club around 7:30 p.m.  Sign up now as this trip will FILL UP!

The Spa will be closed Monday, June 30, for minor repair work. We apologize for any inconvenience!

The Diving Board will not be open June 23rd as planned! When the package was opened, the board has a crack….a manufacturer’s defect. Everything is ready to go….we are simply awaiting the replacement board. It should arrive today, and be up and running Monday (June 30). Fingers crossed that all goes as planned!!

The Recreation Department is planning a fundraiser for some future projects. Do you want to help? We need volunteers to help with a Chili Cook-Off this October, and plan and work a Golf Tournament for next Spring. If this sounds like something that you might want to participate in, please contact Alisa at 949-586-0860 x29 or amillers@lf2.org.

Starting in June, we will be offering a “Lil’ Yogis” program for the children.  Children are taught the basic yoga positions and how to live a healthy life!  We are excited to offer this class.  The tentative class schedule is Wednesday evenings from 5:45 to 6:45 (during Jazzercise!) and will cost $12.00 per class (6 weeks sessions).  Price includes a mat.  The instructor, Hailey, teaches this valuable and fun class at various schools throughout the district.

I need someone to run the Ping Pong Tournment on July 4th! With two new tables and some space downstairs, we are ready to play. If you are interested in organizing and running the tournament, please contact me! amillers@lf2.org
